The Essential Grocery List E-Book

Lunch should be simple. Between thinking about health, variety, and ease-of-packing, however, midday meals can get surprisingly complicated. Half the time, it seems easier to give up on lunch planning entirely and simply stock up on choices from the frozen-food aisle.

Never fear! Your days of poking at unappetizing Salisbury steaks are officially in the past. Here’s the Essential Grocery List For Weekday Lunch Planning.

This customizable ten-item list you can add to your regular shopping list, is designed to make lunch planning a simpler. Ten ingredients is the lunchtime sweet spot—it’s just enough items to give you a wide variety of lunches without overwhelming you with options. Moreover, this list can save you money at the grocery store since you’ll use each ingredient for multiple meals throughout the week. The Essential Grocery List also guides you through some lunch-planning practicalities, like storage and expiration dates, so you can overcome hurdles you meet along the way.

Melissa, I really love this simple approach. May I suggest to add legumes (black beans or pinto beans, or lentils, etc.) to the quesadilla so there is more protein? Diabetics need protein with carbs to help absorb the sugars. Just a thought. Thanks.
