Mall pretzels are pretty good, but warm, chewy, soft pretzels fresh out of the oven are so much better. Why shell out big bucks at the mall or ballpark with no guarantee of freshness (how long has it been hanging under the heat lamp?), when you can easily make a whole batch at home for a fraction of the cost and have some fun with your family. Plus, warm pretzels are the kind of snack that transcends seasons—they taste just as great on a hot summer night as they do at a dead-of-winter hockey game.

Once you see how easy it is, you’ll never buy mall pretzels again!
Pretzel Appetizer and Snack Ideas
Soft pretzels can be twisted into a traditional shape or cut into bite-sized pieces. For a super easy, delicious, grab-and-go appetizer pretzel bites are the way to go. Serve plain or stuffed with cheese, along with a variety of dipping sauces for a fun and delicious snack perfect for after-school, movie nights, party appetizers, game days, or "just because." To reheat, just pop in the microwave for a few seconds, tear a piece off, dunk in your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!

My granddaughter and I made these pretzels this past weekend for a family BBQ. They were a hit!! We made 2 packages of the pretzel mix and added Himalayan Sea salt to 8 of them and Cinnamon & Sugar to the other 8! So easy and fun to make! And delicious!!
Where is the recipe for the dough?
Pampered Chef sales the dry dough. Directions are on the package. You can purchase the set.
They sell the pretzel kit that comes with the dough

Is anything dairy free?
I’m not sure about this particular product. I haven’t used it yet. Here’s a handy tip someone told me.
Go to the online catalog and type “PRETZEL” in the search box.
Click on the button “VIEW”.
Click on the tab called “USE & CARE”. It shows the nutrition label and ingredient list for all food products. Hope that helps.
Those appetizers look fantastic!
So, where’s the recipe?
Where is the written recipe for the pretzel bites?
Ok where’s the recipe and not the mix
I don’t want to buy the mix. I thought the mat and form would come with a recipe to make the dough, but it didn’t. Does anyone know the recipe???
Here is a link to 20 different recipes for pretzels.

Such a disappointment really. No recipe.
It literally says that you can use the mix or the Pampered Chef recipe but the recipe can’t be found anywhere. I’m about to turn Karen..
Sarah, if you have a Pampered Chef Consultant, check with them. There is a Consultant Exclusive Soft Pretzel Recipe that your consultant can provide or you can use any recipe with the kit or you can even use pre-made pizza crust too! The exclusive recipe isn’t searchable on the guest website. This blog article and video is really about the kit itself and PC fknows that most folks have difficulty making the traditional pretzel knot. The kit makes it easy to do using the instructions on the mat and the pretzel form in the kit.
One ? I have.. does the baking soda mixture added with the dough or is this added after the dough rises for 20 minutes?
The baking soda mixture is what you will dip your pretzels in before baking. If you are using our mix, you will mix according to the package directions then allow the dough to rise. Next step is shaping the dough and mixing your baking soda solution. You’ll dip the pretzels into the solution then place on your parchment paper lined baking pan.
The pretzel mix doesn’t explain the process for pretzel bites and it’s not included on this blog.
I’m sure the bake time would be less and I could “guesstimate”, however I feel that when a company like PC blogs about pretzel variations you’d think they’d atleast include the directions for each variation.
Was expecting more PC….especially for how old this post is and some of the comments above asking the same thing closer to its publish date.
