Carol, I have been making applesauce for years but have no exact recipe.
Quite easy and you will not fail! I do not use a pressure cooker but definitely that would be great!
6 Apples peeled and chopped
Possibly 1/2 cup of water . Cook over medium high heat in a sauce pan.
1 Tbsp cinnamon ( or more if you like, some people like red hots added)
Cook your apples stirring occasionally until softened and mushy approx 45 min to 1 hour
Stir well each time and keep a lid on the pot as to not dehydrate your apples. Cool and place in container to keep in refrigerator.
