How to Make an Easy Marinade

A great marinade helps any meat taste better, remain juicy, and stay tender. Start building your marinade with an easy formula of acid, fat, and seasoning.

Fat helps your meat stay juicy and transfers flavors of your seasoning and acid to the meat. Try things like Greek yogurt, oil, or even coconut milk. Acid tenderizes the meat by breaking it down. Wine, vinegar, and lemon or lime juice are all great options. Add seasonings like dried or fresh herbs, spices, garlic, or ginger, to your marinade to flavor your meat.

Let a marinade sit for even just 15 minutes, and then cook!
