Your mother, your sister, your friend, yourself—we all know someone affected by breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women. Since 2007, breast cancer death rates have remained steady in women younger than 50 but have decreased in older women.
In May 2000, Pampered Chef partnered with the American Cancer Society® to raise funds for their breast cancer education and early detection programs. The American Cancer Society® believes the decrease in death rate is the result of early detection and increased awareness, as well as better treatment.
